Tea with Teresa

A glimpse of my life, thoughts in an attempt to discover any patterns among life's random permutation and spontaneity

About October 15, 2008

I would like to change the think in ”I think, therefore I am” to “write”. The more I write, the more I can make sense in the world, of the things I did, of the people I spent time with. In the era of hyper-connectivity with the frenzy of one social media after another, blog to me is the only quiet and peaceful place among the constant loud demands/interruption on our time and attention.  I wish more people are connected this way and I invite you to be connected with me no other digital ways, too.

    Dearest Teresa!

Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, is a date that will live in fame as an inflection point in the development of race and class relations in the United States. From Martin Luther King’s A Testament of Hope to Barack’s the Audacity of Hope should be on required reading lists in Social Studies classes around the country. These two African-American leaders’ lives say a great deal about who America has been, is and may be. Let’s hope history will march in a progressive direction with some help from President-elect Barack Obama. In Peace and Solidarity!
